Dr. Daniel A. Williams, Jr.

Dr. Daniel A Williams Jr., 60, of Binghamton, passed away May 13, 2022 with his wife of 40 years and his 3 children by his side. He was the son of Daniel A. Williams Sr. and Elizabeth (Natoli) Williams. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Williams; son, Dr. Daniel Williams III, and daughters, Kristen Williams and Ashley Williams. He is also survived by his siblings Darryl (Margie), and Mark (Corey). Daniel graduated from Binghamton North High School in 1980. He then pursued his Bachelors of Science at Binghamton University and completed in 1984. He proceeded to obtain his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine graduating 2nd in his class. He served our country by completing his residency in the United States Air Force for 3 years. Dan returned to Binghamton NY in 1992 where he joined Riverside Dental Associates and practiced for 30 years. Dr. Williams Jr. earned the prestigious award of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). Dan’s thoughtfulness and caring nature contributed to positive experiences for all of his patients. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, specifically traveling to watch his children compete in athletic and academic events, as well as vacationing with his loved ones. Doc thrived on the golf course as a proud member and founder of Team GP. He will be deeply missed by all. 
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 12 noon from THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME INC. 137 Robinson Street Binghamton.  Burial will be in Knox Cemetery with military honors.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 am until service time at 12.  In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Broome County Hospice
