It is with a heavy heart that we announce the loss of Edward G. Chicuorka. He passed away unexpectedly on Friday April 23, 2021 at the age of 54. Ed is a graduate of Maine Endwell High School, Broome Community College and SUNY Binghamton. For 25+ years he has been a fixture at Butcher Boys, starting as their delivery driver and working diligently to take on additional roles and responsibilities including most recently as a proud co-owner. Ed was an avid sports fan of hockey, baseball and football and followed his Rangers, Yankees and Steelers faithfully. With every opportunity, he enjoyed spoiling and spending time with his nieces, traveling with Frances and most of all cooking his favorite dishes to share with family and friends at special events. Ed will be greatly missed and his family requests that you please remember him in your prayers.
Ed is predeceased by his father Edward S. Chicuorka. He is survived by his mother Virginia (Ripic) Chicuorka; brothers Michael, David, Robert (Lisa) and Peter Chicuorka; sister Kristin (Christopher) Alfarano; nieces Annastazia, Isabelle and Elizabeth Alfarano; nephew Joseph Chicuorka; fiancé and the love of his life Frances Gill.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 5pm until 7pm at the LEON PUCEDO FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 10:30am at Most Holy Rosary Church in Maine, NY. Burial will follow in Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery. All Covid-19 safety regulations will be followed. Space will be limited at the church, the mass will be recorded and available on our website www.sheafuneralhome.com/obituary/Edward Chircuorka for those that cannot attend.
