Edward Thomas Wavra

Born on December 22,1964 in Bay Shore, Long Island, New York, Eddie passed away on April 23, 2026 at home in Vestal, New York. He was the loving husband of Stacey, and proud father to Ryan, Jason, and Devin. He was predeceased by his parents Joan and John Wavra. He is also survived by his dear sister Laura (Tom) Famighetti, his brother John (Vicki), his in-laws and many beloved nieces and nephews. Eddie was a devoted father and loved his family immensely. He was always there for his sons’ hockey and lacrosse games. He could always be found cheering in the stands and making it known when he wasn’t happy with the calls. He loved spending time with his family on Long Island, traveling for hockey and lacrosse tournaments, working around the house, going to the beach, crabbing with his sons, and working outside. He liked going on adventures with his family. He was always the biggest talker and the loudest person in the group. He always had a story to tell. Calling hours are from 4:00 - 6:00 pm followed by a brief service on Thursday, April 30th at Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home 137 Robinson Street, Binghamton NY 13904.
