Egidio Stenta

Egidio Stenta 95, of Binghamton, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2021.
He is predeceased by his wife Filomena Stenta; parents Giovanni and Carmela Stenta; brothers Domenico Stenta, Antonio and Pantaleone both who passed away in WWII, sisters Assunta Stenta, Clementina Stenta; son in-law Giustino Rubicondo; brother in-laws Antonio and Lucia DeSanctis, Gregorio D’Angelo, and other relatives in Italy and Canada.

He is survived by his children Antonio (Kathleen) Stenta, Lina Rubicondo; grandchildren Antonio Jr. (Keri) Stenta, Kimberly (Matt) Naro, Andrea Stenta, Luciana Rubicondo(Billy Deal), Fausto Rubicondo, Stefania Rubicondo, Fabio Rubicondo; great-grandchildren Landon, Carson, Bella, Luca, and Lucas; sister in-law Yolanda D’Angelo; many relatives from Italy and Canada; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Egidio was born in 1926 in Casacanditella, Italy. He loved telling his family and grandchildren war stories. He enjoyed gardening, and was known for being able to fix anything, and always willing to help out others. Family meant everything to him, he will be dearly missed. 

The family wishes to thank Willow Point Nursing Home South 1, and all those who took care of Egidio for their loving and compassionate care.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 9:15am until 9:45am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Binghamton, NY. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. All COVID guidelines will be followed.
