ELDON JAMES STARLEY It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Eldon James (Jimmy) Starley, who passed away peacefully at home on May 21st at the age of 75. Jimmy was born on November 5, 1949 in Binghamton, NY to Esther Comstock Starley and George Starley. He joins his parents and siblings, Gerald, George, Kathleen, and Maggie in peaceful repose. He is survived by his other siblings, Larry Starley of Binghamton, Mary West of Windsor, and Patty Hahn of Windsor, children, and beloved grandchildren. He graduated from North High School in 1967 and continued his education at Oneonta College. He spent a majority of his life working in the education system. As a retiree he devoted his time helping others through the Office for the Aging. Jimmy was passionate about sports and a die-hard fan of the Yankees, Giants, Bills and Jets. He enjoyed fixing things, loved music, and playing card games. He is remembered for his kindness and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
