Eleanore I. (Benjamin) Yanuzzi

 Eleanore I. Yanuzzi, 81 went to be with the Lord, peacefully at home  after a brief illness on April 28, 2021 with her family by her side. She is predeceased by her parents Claude and Irene Benjamin and brother-in-law Robert Stabley.  She is survived by her children Francis "Fran" (Patricia) Yanuzzi,  Maria (Brian) Miller, Angela (Mike) Mion; grandchildren Michael (Lindsey) Ruffo, Sophia (Derrick Thomas) Yanuzzi, Dominick (Olivia ) Yanuzzi; great grandchildren Madison and Hannah Ruffo; sister Barbara Stabley; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
 Eleanore worked many years for St. Catherine's Rectory as the Business Manager; had a love for reading, gardening and especially admiring the wildlife in her backyard.  Also known for her baking and cooking around the holidays, and never missing her monthly Dominos group, who became like family.  A special Thank you to UHS Wilson Hospital and Lourdes Hospice for their compassionate care of our mother. A Memorial Mass will be held at 9:30am on May 8, 2021 at St. Paul's Church in Binghamton.  Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hallstead, PA.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Catholic Charities of Broome County or Lourdes Hospice in Eleanore's memory.  Arrangements are in the care of Albert J. DeMarco with the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC.
