Eleanore "Ellie" Clark Obituary

Surrounded by her three loving and beautiful children, Eleanore (“Ellie”) peacefully passed into our Lord and Savior’s arms on Thursday, September 23rd, 2021.  She was 86.

Ellie was predeceased by her parents Albert and Camilla Hess; Brother and Sister-in-law, Arthur and Jeanette Hess; and her husband William V. Clark.

Ellie was a lifelong resident of Binghamton.  Graduating from Binghamton Central High School in 1953 with a concentration in Business Courses.

Ellie loved God, Family and Country.

Her love of, and faith in, God was unwavering.  A prayer always on her lips.

She was a devoted Mom, who always did her best to make life better for her three children.

Ellie was one of the most patriotic people you could meet.  Always wearing her red, white and blue on our country’s holidays.  Her special creations, including food, would always be garnished with patriotic colors on those days.

Though Ellie worked at many local businesses, her proudest “job” was that of a Foster Grandmother (aka; Grandma Ellie) at Benjamin Franklin School.  How she loved and cared for children!

Ellie is survived by her children, Mary (Ed) Personius of Cocoa Beach, FL,  Kelly (Amy) Clark of Binghamton and Bill (Hadil) Clark of Binghamton; Grandchildren, Chelsea (Mikey) Bobal, Kalani (Billy) Dudek, Brooke (Robby) Jones, Matt (Molly) Personius, Ethan Clark, Sam Clark and Jem Buegler-Clark; Great-Grandchildren, Sophia, Josie, Max, Louis and Alonzo Bobal, and Liam and Carter Dudek.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff and administration at Ideal Living Center for their amazing care and love for our Mom and “Nana” over the past 12 years.  God Bless you all.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 28th at 10:00 am at Saints John and Andrew Roman Catholic Church, 1263 Vestal Avenue, Binghamton, NY. Burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Friendsville, PA.
