Elizabeth I. (Roberts) Mahoney

Our dear mother and wife to Gilbert Aitchison sadly passed away on February 16, 2026. Liz was predeceased by her first husband Paul J. Mahoney; sons Michael Mahoney and Damion J. Mahoney; sisters Sally Storm, Ruth (Cliff) Roberts.  Liz is survived by her husband Gilbert W. Aitchinson; daughter Danielle Mahoney-Brown (Robertt Brown), son Shawn P. Mahoney; brother Neil (Eve) Roberts; sister-in-law Mary E. Mahoney; two lovely grandchildren Ethan Brown and Ava Brown; good friends Mary Harris and Tom O'Neil; as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Liz graduated from college, worked at Great American, Kroehlers and SEFCU. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, especially when they spent the night, bowling, walking, boating, camping at Sandy Pond, making dinners for family, spending winters in Florida, watching Blue Bloods, casinos, and traveling to Irelan and Caribbean Cruises.  

Liz was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her.  We would like to thank Susquehanna Nursing Home for the care Elizabeth received.
