Ernest Huyck Obituary

Ernest F. Huyck, 89, went to be with his sweetie, Elizabeth “Janie” Huyck, on February 23, 2020. He is also predeceased by his parents Ernest and Mable Huyck, and brother Dougie Huyck. He is survived by his beloved daughter Brenda (Joseph) Crowley; grandson Christopher Leitner; sisters Edna (Earl) Lee and Linda (Gary) Beagell; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was an employee for over 40 years with Binghamton Container Company; never late for work or missed a day. He also owned Beeze Car Wash in Windsor and after retirement went to work at Gary’s U-Pull It. Ernest was a member of Windsor United Methodist Church and Fairview United Methodist Church, and was a past Masonic member. He served on the Town Board for Windsor and the Windsor Fire Department and as a Justice of the Peace. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed traveling the world. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
