Frances (Fran) of Binghamton NY, passed away on 1/12/25 at the age of 94.
Born on September 5, 1930 in Binghamton, New York where she lived all her life until March of 2019, when she moved to Virginia to live with her daughters.
The daughter of the late Anthony and Amelia (Paccio) Palombaro.
She is predeceased by her loving husband, Frederick Napierala of 59 years; sisters, Lucy (Bill) Durkot and Rose (Fred) Flederbach; brother, Carlo (Josie) Palombaro; grandson, Andrew Spadanuta; son-in law, George Linfante; and her precious dog, Sandy.
She is survived by her 5 children: Michael and Linda (Napierala) Spadanuta, Barbara (Napierala) Linfante, Joseph and Donna (Napierala) Whiteside, Robert and Paula (Napierala) McGuigan, and Jason Napierala; 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews
She was an enthusiastic bingo player and casino patron as well as an avid sports fan of the Yankees, Giants, and Tiger Woods. For many years, her hobby was crocheting afghans for everyone in her family to cherish.
She was Member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church and a celebration of her life will be at the church on Friday, January 24, 2025. Visitation at the church at 10 a.m. followed by Mass at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made on her behalf to St. Cyril’s “Repair My Church Fund” at 148 Clinton Street, Binghamton, New York, 13905.
