Francis "Babe" Rogers

Francis “Babe” Rogers, passed away on June 16, 2024 at the age of 96.
He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Sadie Rogers; wife Angie;  brothers Gene, Earle, and Philip Rogers and granddaughter Christina Rumpel.  He is survived by his children Ron (Brenda) Rogers, Kathy (Frank) Rumpel, Jerry (Terri) Rogers, and Joe (Mandy) Rogers. Also, many cherished grandchildren, great grandchildren and his special companion Trish Marconi.
He proudly served in US Navy joining at the young age of 16.  
Our father was the last of the co-founders of Rogers Trucking Company founded in 1947 now known as Rogers Service Group.  He was very proud to be co-founders with his brothers but even more so to continue his legacy with his sons and daughter. He was a self-made man who worked tirelessly and always welcomed a challenge no matter how big or small and always accomplished it. 
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 10am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Binghamton with Military Honors to follow at the church. 
Memorial Contributions in Babe's memory can be made to St. Mary of the Assumption Church or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
