Frank Anthony Tiesi, Sr. Binghamton.
Wrapped in Jesus' arms he entered into heaven after his 95th birthday. He was predeceased by his parents. Michael and Frances Tiesi, his love, Laura Mae Tomassi-Tiesi, his sister Mary Gentile and brother Joseph Tiesi. He is survived by his five children, Lizanne (Robert) Korinek, Mary Frances Fayerweather, Michelle (George) Hayes, Frank Jr. (Wendy) Tiesi and Dante (Michelle) Tiesi. 11 grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Korinek, Abbey Matthews, Sara Elsmore, Mia and Alex Hayes, Cole and Cara Tiesi, and Bryce, Austin and Isabella Tiesi, and one great granddaughter, Sadie Elsmore. and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Frank is also survived by his sister-in-law, Francianne Shierly. Frank was an aerial photographer and veteran in the Korean War. He owned “Tiesi Sonoco” Gas Station on Upper Front Street for many years. He'll be especially missed by his caregiver Jennifer Shaw, his Angel, his “Pops” and best buddy. Pops could be himself and enjoy many laughs with Jennifer. With much love, gratitude, and appreciation we thank Jennifer for her wonderful care and love she provided to “Pops” in his remaining years. He will forever be engraved in our hearts.
A Funeral service will be held at the Thomas J Shea Funeral Home, 137 Robinson St. Binghamton 13904 on Wednesday at 11 AM with Father Clarence Rumble officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
