Genevieve R. (Gaylord) Decker

Genevieve R. Decker, 92, went to with the Lord on January 16, 2023.   She was predeceased by her son David Decker in 1977; parents Rachel and Glen Gaylord; two brothers Earl and Donald and a nephew Dale.  She is survived by her daughter Cathy and husband Mark Scalzo; grandsons Michael and Matthew; granddaughter Tiffany (Chris) Collins; family in Florida, many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was raised in Jackson PA, a talented Pianist, always very welcoming and remembered fondly by many who came into our home over the years.

She worked at Singer Link, raised 3 children as a single mom and was an excellent cook.  Genevieve battled dementia for the last few years of her life. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family.  A Graveside Service will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family.
