George E. Knight

George E. Knight, 75 of Binghamton passed away with his family by his side on July 19, 2025.  He is predeceased by his grandson Jay Knight.  George is survived by his wife, Debbie Knight; sons George E. Knight and Jerrit Knight; granddaughter Nicole Schmuck; 5 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters. 

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and retired from the Binghamton City School District.  George was a member of the American Legion Post 1645 and the VFW in Binghamton.  He enjoyed NASCAR racing, fishing, horseshoes, bowling and hunting.  He will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 10am to 12pm at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY.   A service will follow at 12 Noon at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park with Military Honors.
