Gerald E. Saunders

Gerald “Gerry” Saunders, 86, of Binghamton NY passed away peacefully on November 2, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. 
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Joyce (Jenner) Saunders his children Diane (Giustiniani), David (Kim) Saunders and Kevin (Deb) Saunders; grandchildren Michael, Olivia (Adam), Vincent, Patrick (Kate), James (Maddie), Christopher, Makayla, Benjamin, and Kate; and great-grandchildren Adam, Abel, and Colton.
Gerry was born and raised in Binghamton NY and graduated from North High School. Following service in the US Air Force, he spent his career at IBM and retired after more than 30 years. Gerry enjoyed fishing, supported many seasons of BMX Racing, but his greatest joys in life were watching his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow, and spending time with family. 
The family will receive friends and family at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 5pm to 7pm.
