Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 5, 2021, at the age of 93. Giacomo was born in Vacri, Italy, on December 24, 1927, to the late Vincenzo and Marietta DeNinis. He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Maria; his children Anna Maria DeNinis (Tony D’Amelia), Jack (Debbie) DeNinis, Ron (Kathi) DeNinis, Diana (Tom) Yevchinecz, Tom (Joanna) DeNinis, Gloria (Richard) Dunn; his grandchildren, Bianca Spatafora (Carson Henry), Vanessa Spatafora (Giana Fiesta), Desiree and Tiffini DeNinis, Dominique (Adam) Pinchente, Vincent and Anthony DeNinis, Antino and Andre Yevchinecz, TJ, Corina, Marc DeNinis, Cameron and Cassidi Dunn, Rhea (Ryne) Shelton, Carmen D’Amelia; five great grandchildren. His siblings; Genesio DeNinis, Eginia D’Alessandro. Brother-in-law Sandro D’Alessandro. Sister-in-laws Ginette DeNinis and Emilia Trovarello; and many special nieces and nephews. His is predeceased by his daughter, Diana DeNinis; siblings; Emilio, Grazietta, Avalina, Franco, and Lidia. Brother-in-laws; Guerino, Donato, Nello, Umberto, and Mario. Sister-in-laws; Maria DeNinis, Maria Trovarello, and Adalina. His in- laws; Camillo and Anna Trovarello.
Giacomo came to America from Vacri, Italy in February 1954. He established a successful construction company, Jack DeNinis Contruction, in 1960, which, at the present time, operates under the ownership of his sons. His greatest joy in life was being surrounded by his loving family; Sunday dinners. He enjoyed spending winters in Florida where he created unforgettable memories with his family and friends. Special thanks to Doreen and Luba for the love and support you gave to our dad. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated privately at 9:30am on Friday at St. Mary of the Assumption Church.
