Grace (Pompetti) Lombardini

Grace (Pompetti) Lombardini, 96, went to be with the Lord on April 30, 2025.  She is predeceased by her husband Adam Lombardini; her parents Gabriel and Mary Pompetti; sisters Betty (Joe) Montone, Elsie (George) Slavik; brothers Gabriel (Joan) Pompette; brother-in-law Joseph D’Esti; son-in-law Drake Akroyd. 
She is survived by the love of her life, her daughter Christine Lombardini; Salvatore the dog; sister Carol D’Esti, The D’Esti Family Maria Mathis, John Forker, The Slavik Family, The Pompette Family. 
Although everyone did kind things for Grace throughout her years, she especially wants to thank the D’Esti Family, Maria Mathis and John Forker, Carolyn and Vinny Penna, Pat Shay, and of course our Sarah Mikoda and Gabriella Archambeault.   
She was a very active member of the St. Mary of the Assumption Church and a past President and member of her beloved Women’s Abruzzese Club.  Always did what she could for the club.  
Everyone loved Grace, she was full of life, told it like it is and very devoted to those she loved.  She will be dearly missed. 
A special thank you to Dr. Sanjiv Patel and Willow Point Nursing Home for their special care. 
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 12Noon on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Binghamton.  The family will receive friends at the church from 11am to 11:45am. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park will be private. 
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
