Helen M. (Gialanella) Perella

     Helen (Gialanella) Perella, 102 went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2022.  She was born in Binghamton on January 4, 1920.  She was predeceased by her husband Anthony J. Perella and her son Anthony J. (Junior) Perella, her mother Colombo Manzi Gialanella and father Samuel Gialanella, her sister Flora Lemoncelli (Mike), brothers Frank (Josephine), Tony (Angie), Adolph (Josie), Angelo (Flo), Jerry (Pat), Mike and Jim (Rose).  She is survived by sister-in-law Rose Gialanella, daughters Bobbie (George) Paciocco, Lucille (Dick) Rinebold and son Mark Perella.  Two grandsons, George and David (Hilarie) Paciocco grand daughter Theresa Rinebold and great grandchildren Alexa, Rachel and Anthony.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  
She was a member of St. Paul’s Church for 60+ years, owned a beauty shop on Robinson Street and at Susquehanna Nursing Home where she worked as a beautician. Helen was a very loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. 
Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 19, 2022 at 9:30 am at St. Paul’s Church 232 Chenango Street. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers her family requests that contributions be made to Good Shepherd Fairview Home 80 Fairview Avenue, Binghamton, NY 13904. Arrangements are in the care of the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC.
