Henry J. Farthing

Henry J. Farthing passed away on October 25, 2022. He is predeceased by his beloved grandparents, Jennie and Henry Lisi; mother and father, Victoria and Charles Farthing; brother, Edward Farthing; sister, Helen Klein; and mother and father-in-law, Audrey and Joseph Galloway. Henry will be forever missed by his wife, friend and partner, Becky and his children, Christopher Baker, Amy Baker, and Michele Farthing. He is survived by his sisters, Sandra Dundon and Suzanne Croteau, and sister-in-law, Patricia Farthing; as well as his grandchildren, Sara Baker, Tyler Sabino, Joey Baker, Hailey Harding, Jacob Harding, and Aidan Rosales; great-grandchildren Emma, Levi, Grayson, Ben, and Joey; sons-in-law, Mingo Sabino, Francisco Rosales, Chuck Harding, Tim Gardner, and daughter-in-law Shelly Ashley. Henry's extended family includes many special nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, neighbors, and business associates. Henry was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid member of the Endicott North Side Sausage Club, the Johnson City Elks Club, and enjoyed his summers at Sandy Pond. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, 282 Chenango Street, Binghamton, Saturday October 29, 2022 at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC, 137 Robinson Street, Binghamton, Friday from 5 - 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Henry’s memory may be made to the Broome County Humane Society, and/or St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
