Jacquelyn Shea Obituary

Jacquelyn Lee (Fisher) Shea, born on June 6, 1956, passed away peacefully at home on September 29, 2024, surrounded by her loving husband, Robert Shea, of 46 years. She is reunited with her father, John Fisher, her mother, Helen Fisher, and her sister, Linda Miller.

Jackie is survived by husband Robert Shea, her sister Mary Fisher (Steve Ryan) her three children, Megan (David) Werner, Jon-Michael (Victoria) Shea, and Katelyn (Kevin) Egan, as well as her seven grandchildren: Taylor, Ryan, Jack, Luca, Santino, Gianni, and Liam.

Growing up on the East Side, Jackie created a warm and loving home filled with music and laughter, often enjoying games and cheering on her Yankees. Her passion for family was unmatched and admired by many. There are countless memories that her family will keep close to their heart.

Jackie dedicated many years of her life as a teacher assistant for the Binghamton City School District, where she formed lasting bonds with all she encountered. There were many Halloween nights where you could hear students screaming “Mrs. Shea” as they realized the house they were at while Trick or Treating. She left a lasting impact on so many, without even knowing it.

Jackie’s kind spirit and unwavering love will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
