James Patrick Finn died peacefully, May 3, 2023. Born December 15, 1942 to John E. and Margaret Nolan Finn. James lived a very challenging life. Although he was misunderstood by many because of his appearance and “homelessness,” he had a brilliant mind and was capable of remembering all information he had ever heard or read. He was a gentle, loving person who struggled to find the love and friendship he searched for, his entire life. With confidence, we are assured of James’s immediate Glory with God, for “ the last shall be first,” Matthew 20:16. In memory of James, consider an act of kindness toward someone less fortunate than yourself. For “in so far as you did this to one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did it to me.” Matthew 25:40. Thanks to all who were kind to James and cared for him along his journey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for James at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church (Chapel), Binghamton. His final resting place will be at Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. His care was entrusted to his lifelong friend and family of Anne Fiacco Jameson (Charlie). Arrangements are under the care of THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC
