James W. McGrath

James W. McGrath, 80, went to be with the Lord surrounded by his family on April 26, 2022. 
He is predeceased by his wife Gloria; parents Lawrence and Eileen; grandson Zebariah.  He is survived by his children Steven (Joanne) McGrath, Robyn (Jeff) Todd and Kim McGrath; grandchildren Megan (David) Kilmer, Karli (Adam Jeavons) McGrath, Alexis Ripic and Dylan Lance; great grandchildren Aubreigh McGrath, Kinleigh and Declan Kilmer, Parker, Holden and Emily; his sister Debbie (Tim) Chadwick and brother Phil Jewell Sr. He was a member of the American Legion Post 1645; a huge Yankees, Syracuse and Giant fan.  He loved to cook, you can bet on that! He loved his family; he will be greatly missed.   A special thank you to Seton 1 at Lourdes Hospital for the care and compassion and to Debbie and Tim for taking care of him.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 4pm to 6pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton NY 13904. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
