James Spalik Jr. passed away suddenly on Monday, August 22, 2022 at the age of 66. He was born June 4, 1956 in Binghamton, NY. He was a caring and loving son, brother, and father. He especially loved spending time outdoors riding his 4-wheeler and cutting wood. He had a kind soul and loved helping people. He also enjoyed the many years he spent vacationing and fishing in the Thousand Islands.
James was proceeded in death by his father James Sr. He will be dearly missed by his mother Shirley, his children and their partners: Jameson Spalik (Kathryn Ford Barnett), Julia Spalik (Mathew Clark), and Jeri-Ann Healey and his grandchildren: Jade (Adam) Deuel, Jenna Spalik, Jayla Spalik, Josephine Spalik, Ja’Kiyah Joe, Jacier McCarden, Justus Healey, Bentley Healey, Bri-Ella Healey.
He will also be missed by his brothers, sisters and their spouses: David Spalik, Stephen Spalik, Martha Tubaugh, Susan and Michael Mucci, and Carol and Scott Howland as well as numerous nieces & nephews. James graduated from Windsor Central High School. He was also a long-time member of St. Mary’s church in Kirkwood, NY and a member of the Kirkwood Knights of Columbus.
Visitation will be private for family. A Mass will follow at 11am on Monday at St. Mary’s Church in Kirkwood. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Windsor.
