On December 27, 2024, surrounded by her family, Jane F. Monico, 100, went to her eternal Heavenly home to be with the Lord.
She was predeceased by her forever partner, husband, Daniel (Dom) J. Monico; parents Joseph and Philomena Patch; siblings Larry and Josephine Patch, Jilda and Benjamin Putano, and Eugene and Jackie Valenti.
Jane is survived by her loving and devoted daughter and son-in-law Kathleen and Vince Innarella; grandsons she adored Daniel and Jenni Innarella, and Michael Innarella; and her absolute greatest joys and treasures, her great grandchildren, Maya Innarella, Asher Innarella and Zachary Welker; as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Born in 1924, Jane grew up and lived her entire life in Binghamton, was a lifetime member of Saint Mary of the Assumption Church and Golden Age Club, and worked as a finance accounting manager for STOW Manufacturing for over 35 years.
Jane loved to cook and bake, and was well known for her homemade Italian dishes, holiday dinners, and cookies. She also enjoyed books, old movies, game shows, and watching the Yankees, but her greatest joy was sharing stories and spending time with family.
She was deeply devoted to her faith, her family, and her friends. She was a caretaker to many, and treated everyone like family. The love she poured out to others was unwavering and unconditional, and something we should all strive for. She will be missed dearly, but her love, grace and spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
The family would like to thank Kelly Seager, as well as the staff of North and South 3 at Willow Point for the amazing care and love they provided Jane.
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 10:00am on Friday, January 3, 2025 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Binghamton. The family will receive friends from 9:00am until 9:50am at the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Danielle House or Mercy House. Arrangements are in the care of Albert J. DeMarco
