On February 13, 2023, our hearts were broken with the passing of our loving Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Grandpa (Baka), and Friend.
Jeffrey M. Starchok of Conklin, N.Y was 53 years old when he went to be with the Lord. He was predeceased by his Maternal Grandparents Frank (Regina) Prorock, his Paternal Grandparents Harry (Agnes) Starchok. Uncles, Dean, Jerry, Kenny Starchok. Father-in-law Ed Travis, sister-in-law Vicky Travis Matson. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 22 years Jody Starchok, Parents Duane (Mary) Starchok, His Children Jordan Starchok, Cory (Becky) Starchok, Rob (Elaine) Slezak, Justin (Olivia) Slezak, Paige Starchok (Chris), Jeffrey (Clara) Starchok, his sister Kelly Starchok (Bill), Mother-in-law Maryann Travis, his Travis Family Rev. Dann (Bonnie), Ed, Randy (Sandy), David (Ann), Mark (Chris), Dennis (Grace), Brenda (Roger) Salai, Robin (Mike) Carter. His very Special Granddaughter Cheyenne Slezak “The Package” as Jeff would call her, Kori Starchok, Grandson Tyler Starchok, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends. His very Special Friends that he worked with for years Rob Galyen, Joe Napik. His faithful companions Yukon, Sammy, Emmy. He also had a special relationship with my Brothers Mark and David. You were both his good friends.
Jeff was employed by Stroehmann Bakeries for 28 years and was in the business for over 30 years. Everyone knew him as “Starch”. Jeff was hardworking, dedicated, and very generous, there’s nothing he wouldn’t do or give to his family or friends. He gave will all his heart. His Passion was watching Jordan play Football, he was proud of him. He loved to play Golf, listening to his podcasts at night and Politics and of course had HIS opinions. His favorite place was the beach. That is where he could just relax and be at peace.
Funeral Services will be held at 3pm on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Crossroads of Life Church on 18 Exchange St., Binghamton, NY, 13901 with Pastor Dann Travis officiating the service. Calling hours will be held from 2pm until the time of the service at 3pm at the church.
