Jennie Sutton

Jennie (Wells) Herrick Sutton, 90 of Binghamton went to be with the Lord on April 18, 2025.  She is survived by a daughter, Brenda S. Herrick of Binghamton; predeceased by her husband Glenn L. Sutton of Binghamton with who she was happily married for 33 years. 
She retired from the Binghamton City School District as a secretary after 35 years. She was an avid bowler; in the Hall of Fame, 600 Club Member and over 50 years of NYS women’s tournaments.  She also loved traveling, Yankee Baseball and collecting light houses. 
The family will receive friends from 12Noon to 1pm on Friday, April 25, 2025 at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY. A Funeral Service will follow at 1pm at the funeral home.  Burial will be private in Floral Park Cemetery. 
In lieu of flowers donations can be to Nimmonsburg United Methodist Church, Discretionary Fund, 918 Front St. Binghamton, NY 13905.
