Joan Barrett

Joan Frances Barrett, 87, born in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, Lived in Cortland and Chenango Bridge New York for over 50 years. With her loving family by her side, Joan went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 11. She is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Lillian Cribar, brothers Craig and Donald and sisters in law Marlene and Lynn, first husband Ken Fletcher and granddaughter MacKenzie Joan Weaver. Lovingly remembered by her husband of sixty years, John Barrett, sons Paul (Michelle), David, Craig (Laurie), and daughter Lisa Weaver (Jeff), Grand children Alexis (Jimmy), Meghan (Josh), Gabrielle (Dustin), Chellsea (Jon), Emillie (Thomas), 5 Great Grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday at the THOMAS J. SHEA Funeral Home Inc. 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY 13904 from 11am until 1pm. A Memorial service will follow at 1pm with Rev. Dr. Colton officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In Lieu of flowers, donations to Conklin Presbyterian Church Building Fund or Lourdes Hospice would be appreciated.
