Joan W. O'Neil

Joan W. O’Neil, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister passed away Friday, September 23, 2022 at home. She is survived by her husband Bernard (Bernie) O’Neil, two daughter’s Colleen Fancher, Laura (Dave Hack) four grandchildren, Nick and his two boys Bernard and Leo, Camille (Cody) Vincent and their two girls Peyton and Addison, Corey and Kaitlin Wallace. Her sister Jeanne Delgado and her two daughters Dena and Kristena and their children and many nieces and nephews. A special niece and nephew Jim and Rose O’Neil and Danielle Bianco her godchild.  Her special friends, Kathy Hastings and Emma Russell who were like sisters to her. Joan retired from Verizon after 35 years.  She was a member of St. Mary’s in Kirkwood.  She loved her church, being a greeter and talking to the people.  She loved her house and flowers and working outside in her flowers and decorating for the holidays. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2022, from 9:00am-10:00am at St. Mary’s Church in Kirkwood.  A funeral Mass will follow at 10:00am.  Burial will be at St. Augustine’s Cemetery. A special thanks to the Sacred Heart Hospice Group.  Donations can be made to the Sacred Heart Hospice Group at 53 Glenmura National Boulevard, Moosic, PA 188507.  Thank you all.  Arrangements are with the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC, 137 Robinson Street, Binghamton, NY 13904.
