Joanne Marie Lozzi

Joanne Marie Lozzi, 68, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2022 surrounded by her family.  Joanne was born on December 7, 1953 to the late Jack and Nancy Little Lozzi. After graduating from Union Endicott High School, she started a family in West Endicott and loved being Mom to two sons, Kenny and Chris Fontana. Known as  Aunt JoJo to her nephews and nieces, Joanne also loved taking care of the neighborhood children and volunteering as a Room Mom at Charles F. Johnson. As a talented baker, Cakes By Joanne became a part of local celebrations, bringing smiles to many faces. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her longtime companion Joseph Potter. Joanne is survived by her sons Kenny (Jennifer) Fontana of Endicott, Christopher (Kelly) Fontana of Centreville, MD, her grandchildren Dominic, Adriana, and Abraham, her siblings, Jimmy (Nancy) Lozzi, Roberta Lozzi, Robert Lozzi, nieces, nephews and cousins. Joanne’s family would like to thank the caring and wonderful staff and volunteers at Mercy House of the Southern Tier for taking such wonderful care of Joanne and her family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Joanne’s memory to Mercy House of the Southern Tier. https://mercyhousesoutherntier.com/donate
