John J. Kephart

John James Kephart, 88, of Kirkwood, New York passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024.
He is predeceased by his parents John and Dorthy; siblings Tommy, Jerry, Chuck, and Fred.  
He is survived by his wife of 66 years Beverly; children Lisa (Scott) DePofi, John (Lauralee) Kephart, Jennifer Cannon; grandchildren Nicholas (Emily), Vincent and Lucas DePofi, Camren and Casie Kephart, Chloe Cannon; great grandchildren Giovanni and Nora DePofi; siblings Ted Kephart, sisters Pat Brewer, Paulette Quick, Cindy Pickering; and sister-in-law Patrica Kephart.

He was a member of Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 112 for 69 years and served as Honor Guard NYS Veterans Home.

John was a dedicated husband and father. He was a Marine Veteran serving during the Korean War. He enjoyed traveling and cooking after retirement. His time at the Veterans home was filled with many friends (Larry, Jerry, Charlie and the Oak Staff) made his time there special. 

He Loved his family and he will be missed.

A private burial is planned.
