John Stillittano Obituary

John Stillittano, born on November 8, 1932, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2024, at the age of 91. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

John was married to Diane Stillittano for 64 wonderful years, sharing a life full of love and joy. Together, they had four children: John Vincent Stillittano, Lisa Stillittano, Bruno Stillittano, and Antoinette Kintner (John Kintner). John and Diane's first-born son, John Vincent Stillittano, passed away as an infant, and John had been waiting many years to reunite with him.

John was also a proud grandfather to his only grandchild, Erin Kintner, who was his biggest pride and joy.

Predeceased by his parents, Bruno and Antoinetta Stillittano, and his brothers Carmen, Anthony, and Angelo, John is survived by his brother Joseph as well as many nieces and nephews.

John dedicated his life to his family and his work. He worked on the railroad, where he was known for his hard work and dedication.

John had a passion for cooking and spent many happy hours in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for his loved ones. He also enjoyed yard work, finding peace and satisfaction in tending to his garden.

A devout member of Saint Thomas, John was committed to his faith and community. His warm presence and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
John’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12Noon on August 9th at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church in Binghamton.  The family will receive friends from 11am to 11:45 at the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors.  Mass will be livestreamed on church's website.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mercy House, in honor of John’s legacy.
