It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of our husband, father, brother John Joseph Trusky, 64, on Saturday November 23, 2024.
John is predeceased by his parents, John and Ellen Trusky, and godson Matthew DeSanctis.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Trusky, daughter, Molly Trusky (Ryan), son, Michael Weeks (Danielle) with granddaughters Isabelle and Mia. Siblings, Helen M, DeSanctis (Nick), Lisa Bronson (Ric), Keith Trusky (Maria), Damianne Garcia (Armando) and brothers-in-law, Robert Hall (Kaye), David “Hawk” Hall, Michael Hall and James (Dawn)Hall. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and we would be remiss if we didn’t mention his brother from another mother, Thomas Burke.
Johnny graduated from Windsor High School and retired from Universal Instruments.
He loved spending time cruising, whether it be a cruise ship or on his Harley Davidson, he was an avid movie buff, forever quoting from his favorite films. You could find him socializing with his numerous friends at My Uncle’s Place where his presence will be greatly missed. He had a knack of finding a term of endearment for his friends and family. Those who knew Johnny wouldn’t deny that he was a gentle, kind and generous person.
The family will receive friends this Sunday, December 1, 2024 noon –2pm at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson Street, Binghamton, NY 13904.
