John D Lauer Obituary

John D. Lauer 70, of Kirkwood, NY, passed away unexpectedly on November 26, 2018. He is survived by his wife Doris; sister Carol; daughters Michelle, Tami, Tina, Taryn; step-children Renee, Robb, Jeremy; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many close friends. John retired from the USPS, served in the Army during Vietnam in which he received a purple heart, he was an active member of the VFW #478 and Elks Lodge #70. Visitation will be held on Saturday December 1, 2018 from 10am until 12noon at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home Inc. 137 Robinon St. Binghamton, NY 13904. A Memorial Service will follow at 12 noon officiated by Rich Wilson. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project in John’s memory.
