Upon the birth of her son Dan 1990, Joyce focused on her vocation as a loving stay at home wife and mother. Joyce was involved in many of Dan’s St James school activities including supporting the food pantry, cafeteria, library, science fairs and Odyssey of the mind. She hosted many dinners, picnics, and parties for her family and friends. She religiously prayed the rosary and performed many acts of kindness and service to those in need. She battled cancer and multiple health issues for many years and continued to provide love and joy to those around her. In response to her health issues, she became a prolific and talented artist, filling her home and family members homes with numerous beautiful paintings. She maintained her fantastic sense of humor frequently joking and laughing with friends and family. The family would like to thank the many doctors, nurses, and staff for the care provided to Joyce over the last thirteen years, and a special thanks to Lourdes Seton 1 staff for their kindness and caring for Joyce, Jim, and Dan in her final moments.
