Joyce Stanton

Joyce Stanton, 95 of Binghamton, passed away Tuesday February 7th, 2023.  She was predeceased by her husband, Robert W Stanton, a son Bob Stanton, father William H. Paine and stepmother Shirley Paine, sisters June Geesey and Bonnie Paine, her mother Lottie Harrington, her stepfather Frank Harrington, and her mother-in-law, Helen F Stanton. She is survived by her daughters: Laurie (Kurt) Quick, Susan "Sue Babe" (Leroy) Smith, sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Rudy Zabadal, and many nieces and nephews. Joyce retired from Broome Tioga BOCES. She loved all living creatures, loved tap dancing.  She put herself through college, graduated Phi Theta Kappa and was a member of the Mensa club. And she loved antiques. She also taught herself to play the piano.
Graveside service will be held Monday at 1:30 at Spring Forest Cemetery, Binghamton.
