Jude was first and foremost, a devoted and loving mother to her son. She was a very talented photographer and lover of art. After spending many years residing in New York city, she returned to her hometown area to continue her education and Masters Degree in Mathematics. Jude dedicated her life to education as a life-long learner and elementary school teacher. At Union-Endwell she served as the 4th grade teacher specializing in Math and Science for over 20 years. She was well respected by all of her colleagues, students and administrators as the teacher who was able to produce results and have great impact on each student’s success. After her retirement in 2014, Jude enjoyed her times with friends and family as she was dealing with several health issues. She recently took residence at Good Shepard Village and greatly loved her beautiful cottage and her wonderful new friends who showered her with love and support. Jude’s strength of character and love for her son sustained and motivated her for the last several years as she faced her health challenges head-on. Jude will forever be remembered as a beautiful, brilliant, artistic woman of great strength who inspired everyone around her to keep learning, keep growing and keep becoming the best person you can be!
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 7th 2:00-4:00 pm at Good Shepard Village, Main Community Hall. All are welcome to attend.
