Karen was the most generous, thoughtful and kindest person I have ever had the good fortune to know. For over 25 years she served the community as a nurse, 7 of which a travel nurse. Karen was highly intelligent and a joy to be around and loved by everyone who knew her. Prior to nursing Karen managed the Binghamton Whaler's and other events at the Arena. She was an amazing problem solver. When a challenge appeared her favorite mantra was "Buckly Up Butter Cup"; Failure was not an option.
I loved every second we had together and will spend the rest of my life trying to be half the person she was. I thank God for the day we met. Karen was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption church and a volunteer worker at the St. Mary's Luncheons and Bazaar.
MEMORIAL SERVICES HAVE BEEN CANCELLED FOR MAY 14, 2022.
