After college, he remained committed to physical fitness, running and biking and participating in local races with his father, brothers and son.  Kirk was a loving and devoted father to his children.  He was also the best son and brother and would always be there for them.  Kirk had a great sense of humor and a unique smirk when joking with his friends and family.  He loved going for wings and beer with his close friends and brothers and did that just a week before his death.  Kirk absolutely adored his girlfriend Michele, and truly loved her. He always had a twinkle in his eye anytime she was around him.  She was devoted to him too, helping him to enjoy his life every day.  Over the last 25 years, Kirk worked for the Children’s Home of the Wyoming Conference and Broome Tioga BOCES.  He was Assistant Principle at Columbus School as well as a Physical Eduction Teacher at Chenango Forks Schools. Kirk also leaves behind many friends and colleagues that were very close to him.
