Lena Pickering

 Lena A. Pickering 96, of Binghamton, went to be with the lord on Sunday June, 10, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister Vita George; brother Nate George; grandson Paul J. Pickering; daughter in-law Mary Pickering. She is survived by her daughter Debbie (Rick) Fiato, Maurice Pickering, Paul (Cindy) Pickering; grandchildren Anthony and Erica Fiato, Joey (Tanya) Pickering, Jeremy (Amber) Pickering, Nichole (Doug) Prescott; great-grandchildren Andrew, Colby, Annabel, Katie, Cameron, Riley, Caleb, Hailey. Lena worked for Vail Ballou Press, and was lifelong member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. She enjoyed her family, cooking and her weekly trips to the casinos. The family wishes to thank the Fitzpatrick family. She will be dearly missed by all. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 8:30am until 9:30am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Binghamton, NY. A Funeral Mass will follow at 9:30am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at the convenice of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Mercy House of the Southern Tier 212 N.
