Lynn Cunningham of Kirkwood, N.Y. passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by his parents Christine and Royce Cunningham. Lynn and his brothers started up Sothern Tier Masonry and Cunningham Brothers and ran them for over 45 successful years. Lynn loved hunting, fishing and boating. He went big game hunting in Alaska and out west with his brothers and friends. His pride and joy was winning the LOC derby on Ontario with a 28# 9oz lake trout. It was the first lake trout to ever win the derby. Lynn and his wife enjoyed their cottage on Cayuga Lake for 50 years of relaxing and fishing.
The family would like to thank the nurses and CNAs at Good Shepherd Fairview and the palliative unit at General Hospital for their compassionate care.
At the family’s request services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in Lynn’s memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
