The family of Madeline T. Sexton, of Binghamton NY is saddened to announce her sudden passing on 08/01/2024, at the age of 63. Madeline was predeceased by her parents, William & Mary Lou Sexton, and her brother, Timothy. She is survived by her daughter Nicole Hanyon (Eric), grandchildren, Hailey, Christian, and Juliana, son Joshua Hanyon (Cristina) Gerald Hanyon (father of children) and partner Terry Harder of 25 years, And uncle John (Griff) Griffin stepchildren, Ashley. Joshua, Matt, and Nate, As well as many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Madeline was a graduate of Binghamton High school, and a long-time employee at UHS, with most recently she managed a cleaning service.
Madeline was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, partner and friend. She was always there for her family, offering support, wisdom, and love beyond measure. Her gentle spirit and nurturing heart made this world a better place. Madeline was selflessly devoted to her family, and always put them first above all else. She had a remarkable ability to spread love and kindness, wherever she went.
Her memory will forever be etched in our hearts.
As per Madeline’s request, a Funeral Mass will be held on September 7, 2024 at 10am at the Church of Saints John and Andrew in Binghamton. A celebration of life will follow to honor Madeline’s remarkable life at Sach's Tee House.
