Margaret J. (Hudcovich) Halan

Margaret J Halan, 88, passed away surrounded by her family on May 3, 2024. Margaret was predeceased by her parents John and Ethel Hudcovich, sister Mary and brother John. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Douglas), son Jeffrey Stark, grandchildren Jonathan and Jacquelyn and nieces and nephews. She was deeply devoted to her Catholic faith by attending daily mass, making numerous rosaries, and praying the Rosary and Divine Mercy daily. She loved gardening, her farm animals, going on walks and sitting in her sunroom. Margaret was loved for her
goofy antics. One of her families’ favorite memories was during an Easter meal when she announced that she used vanilla ice cream in scalloped potatoes because she ran out of milk.
A funeral mass will commence at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church, Binghamton, NY on Friday May 10, 2024 at 12 pm. The Mass will be livestreamed at www.sta-sp.org. Burial will follow at Maine
Cemetery in the Town of Maine. In lieu of flowers, mass card donations can be made in her name to Saint Thomas Aquinas Church or donations made to Mercy House of the Southern Tier,
Endicott, NY. The family would like to thank Good Shepherd Fairview and Lourdes Hospice for their loving care during her final days.
