Marion J. (Kilmer) Ramsey

Marion Ramsey 93 of Port Crane passed away after a brief illness at the Oxford Veteran's Home.  Mom got to live at home where she wanted to be all but the last 6 weeks of her life. 

Marion was predeceased by her husband of 59 years Frank Ramsey who she greatly missed.  Born outside of Cobleskill NY in Sagendorf Corners at home July 16th 1932 to the late Jonas and Carolyn Kilmer whom she adored.  Mom was also predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Shirley and Busse Kane who she dearly missed.  Also by her mother and father-in-law Victoria and Frank P. Ramsey of Tupper Lake.  

Mom is survived by her children Bruce, Susan and Gary.  Her grandchildren Jessica, Michelle, Sarah, Brandy, Brittney, Bruce, Brenna, Brett, Jarah and Ryella.  Great grandchildren Khaliq, Anabel, Aaliyah, Dahmeer, Amira, Brooklyn, Aria, Aiyana, Nevaeh, Barrett and one on the way.  Great Great Grandchildren Analeyah and Khyalah.  

Mom was the true Matriarch of the family.  Mom you will be dearly missed and always loved.

We would like to thank all of those who took care of Mom at Wilson Hospital, Willow Point and the special care and love shown to her by the staff at the Oxford Veteran's Home. 

At Mom's request there will be a private service at Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., with burial to follow at Vestal Hills Memorial Park where she will lie to rest next to Dad.
