Mark Andrus

Mark Andrus, 67, went to be with the Lord on November 3, 2025.

He was predeceased by his children Mary and J.R.; his mom Evelyn; and in-laws Larry Boorom, Steve Kulas, John and Pat Gill.

He is survived by his wife Catherine; children Melissa (Nick), Nate (Maddie), Neal (Logan), Liz (Jim), Russ (Ally) and grandchildren Noah, Hope, Levi, Liam, Lindsay, Maizie, Remi, Jack, Holland, Will, Romeo and Callahan.  He leaves behind his dad John (Judy); siblings Patty and Linda (Ed Baker), as well as the Gumaer, Gill, Leighton, Boorom and Kulas families and his beloved dog Potter.

Mark and Catherine were devoted to each other.  He was the true definition of a patriarch of his family. He was always there for his children, day or night, with love and guidance as they grew.

He also passed down his love for fishing to his family.  He enjoyed playing and coaching baseball in his younger years and also had fun playing cards with his buddies.

Visitation will be held from 9am to 10am on Monday, November 10, 2025 at St. Paul’s Church, 282 Chenango St. in Binghamton.  A Funeral Mass will follow at 10am at the church.  Burial will be private. Please donate to a food bank of your choice in his memory.
