Mark J. LoVuolo

Mark J. LoVuolo, 54, passed away on March 20, 2023 with his brother by his side after a year long battle with brain cancer. He is predeceased by his parents Margaret Powers and Denny LoVuolo; grandparents Joseph and Eleanor Powers, Denny and Rose LoVuolo.  
He is survived by his devoted brother Chris LoVuolo; his nieces and nephew Isabella, Gianna, Lucia and Vincent; who were his pride and joy.   Also survived by sister-in-law Jill LoVuolo; uncle David Powers; aunt Marlene (Tom) Ampula; and special lifelong friend Mary Pello.
Mark worked for NYSEG for over 15 years; enjoyed playing three card poker and the slots.   He was known for his dry sense of humor and quick sarcastic comebacks.   He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
A special thank you to the staff at Good Shepherd Fairview Home and Mercy House of the Southern Tier for the care and compassion Mark received during his final months.  
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 137 Robinson St. Binghamton.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Mercy House of the Southern Tier in Mark’s honor.
