Mark A. Stanton, 53, passed away unexpectedly on February 27, 2023. He is predeceased by his father Rev. William Stanton and father-in-law Richard Donovan. He is survived by his loving wife and soulmate Michelle (Carulli) Stanton; mother Betty Stanton; siblings Nancy (David) Sousa, Sheri (Dominick Oliver) Stanton, Timothy Stanton and twin sister Cindy (Floyd Hockenberry) Stanton; mother-in-law Angelina Milasi Donovan; father-in-law Michael J. Carulli; sister-in-law Theresa (Michael) Attinello; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He will be greatly missed by his fur babies, Licorice, Chester, Elliott and Sal. He was employed by Binghamton Savings Bank after interning during high school, and for the last 15 years he was employed by Binghamton University.
Mark and Michelle shared a love of bowling and that is where they met and have been partners since. He was an exceptional bowler, with three 300s; enjoyed concerts, loved animals.
A loving son that could be depended on by his family, a great brother, friend and husband who will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 2pm to 4pm at Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 83 Main St. Binghamton. A Memorial Service will follow at 4pm at the church. Memorial Contributions can be made to CHOW in Mark's memory.
