Mary M. (DiCerchio) Leonard

Mary M. Leonard 80 of Johnson City, New York passed away at home, with family by her side on September 12, 2021. Mary was born in Binghamton NY to Marguerite and William DiCerchio. She is survived by her husband and love of her life James R. Leonard, Daughters Lisa McDonald (John), Lori Zigata (Stacy) and Grandchildren Shannon Rothemeyer, Trina Zigata, Andrew and Kelsey McDonald (Craig),  Cousins Roseann and Willy Vermillya, Mary Louise and Nick Taylor.  Nancy and Bob Rogers, Doris and Wesley Talada, Plus many more Cousins, Sister and Brother in-laws, Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
Mary was a Day Care Provider for over 40 years, a job she loved, and missed.  Mary will be remembered for her sense of humor “trouble”, which she displayed until the very end. Her Love of her family, and all children. A Special Thanks to Stay at Home Homecare and Lourdes Hospice.  Visitation will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 11am until 1pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 137 Robinson St., Binghamton.  A Funeral Service will follow at 1pm. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers a memorial donation can be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are in the care of Albert J. DeMarco.
