Mary Jane (Farrell) Ruggero

Mary Jane Ruggero, 88, of Endwell, passed away on December 29, 2023 with her loving family by her side. Mary Jane was born in Herkimer, NY to Lynn Farrell and Grace (Rich) Farrell. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Bob “Rug” Ruggero, her children, Sue Kohler, Nancy Shea, Sandy Sengstock (Dave), Paul Ruggero (Millie), Stephen Ruggero (Heather), and Julie Wilton (Dave). She was Mimi to her 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Donald Gloo, sister-in-law, JoAnn Shernoff and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary Jane was predeceased by her sister, Joan Gloo and infant sister, Nancy Claire Farrell and her son-in-law, Alan Kohler. Mary Jane devoted her life to caring for others. Her love language shone through sending cards for every occasion, never missing a birthday or anniversary. She made sure her children carried on that habit by gently reminding them to send prompt thank you notes, even into their adult years. Mary Jane was a friend to everyone, with a gift for recognizing and befriending people in need. As she raised her 6 children, she also found time to volunteer for various charities and organizations. Her family and friends will miss her bright-eyed smile dearly.
