Michael C. Colgan

Michael C. Colgan, 71, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024 at Mercy House of the Southern Tier.  He is predeceased by mom Rowena Colgan; dad Francis Colgan and brother Dennis Colgan.  He is survived by his sisters Patricia Blodgett, Pamela (Duane) Bender and niece Shannon Bender.

Michael was an Executive Chef; had award winning ice sculptures; he had experience in all phases of restaurant work, most recent restaurants: Guthrie Inn (Sayre, PA), Heritage Country Club, Owego Treadway Inn, and Hyatt Lake Tahoe, Clyde’s Pine Nut Lodge (McDermott, NV). 

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 3-5pm at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson Street, Binghamton NY 13904.  A short funeral service will follow at 5pm.
