Obituary

Michael F. McDonald, 81, of Binghamton, passed away March 11, 2023. He was predeceased by his parents, Irving “Bing” and Janet McDonald, a sister Anita Bonsell, stepdaughter Donna Novak, and several special friends. He survived by his wife, Carol, sons Scott and Jason McDonald, stepson Charles (Angela) Corbin, stepdaughter Trudy (Norm) Meuchelbocek , his sister Margaret (Peg) (Joe) Yezzi.  Michael is also survived by his grandchildren; Logan, Delaney, and Jenna McDonald, Tim Cluff, Victoria (Wayne) Chidester, Matt (Nicki) Cluff, Dylan Novak, Jesse (Rain) Corbin. His great grandchildren Kayli and Azura Cluff, Finch and Luna Chidester, and Emilia Corbin. Mike was a proud member of the American Legion Sons Hillcrest Post #1194, and Whitney Point Post #974. He worked and retired from Raymond Corporation.
At Mike’s request there will be no formal services.  However, the family would like friends and family to join them for a dinner honoring Mike at the Hillcrest American Legion Post #1194 on the West Service Road on Saturday April 8th at 1pm. In lieu of flowers donations in Mike's memory can be made to the Hillcrest American Legion Post #1194 or Hospice.
